Hey! I’m Daley. As you try to decide whether or not counseling is for you and whether or not you and I would make a good team, there are a few things I would love for you to know about me.
First of all, I want you to know that I feel incredibly honored to do this work. Being allowed to come alongside someone as they face their most vulnerable places and hardest hurts – to laugh with them – to cry with them – to challenge them – to celebrate with them… I view it as a sacred honor. If you choose to let me in on your journey, I promise to treat it as the honor that it is. |
Second of all, I believe everyone can benefit from counseling. Sometimes there is stigma around counseling – as if something must be “wrong” with you if you need counseling. The truth is, sometimes life is overwhelming and an outside perspective can provide the outlet we need to navigate the storms of life.
Finally, I want you to know that I already think you are brave. As someone who has been in your shoes, I know looking for a counselor can feel overwhelming and vulnerable. If you have made it this far, it tells me that you have already taken steps towards healing… and I respect that about you. Looking forward to the chance to know you better!
Below is a little more information about the clients I see and how to schedule an appointment with me. While the following info covers some of the main topics I see clients for, it is not exhaustive. If you think we might be a good fit, give me a call and we can chat a little more about what you’re hoping to get out of counseling.
